The Sunrise Health Office of Research Compliance (SHORC) is interested in learning how we can improve the IRB review process. We need your help!

The Office of Research Compliance is the administrative unit of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and wishes to facilitate research compliance initiatives throughout all Sunrise Health entities. The Institutional Review Board is the compliance committee responsible for reviewing and approving all human subjects’ research.

It is the responsibility of the IRB to determine whether proposed research exposes subjects to unreasonable or unnecessary risk, to review informed consent documents, the informed consent process, and to monitor the progress of research.

This survey will help us to evaluate the way that the Office of Research Compliance and IRB perform their responsibilities and identify areas for continuous improvement and policy development. Your response is greatly appreciated and will be completely anonymous.
